Le Grange Gites - Out and About

Quiberon

A 30 minute drive will take you to Auray, where you can catch the scenic train to Quiberon a very relaxing and simple way to spend the day, alternatively you can travel all the way by car about 45 minutes from the Gites, once at Quiberon you have a large sandy beach, very safe for children, many shops, restaurants cafe's etc along the seafront, also there is a ice-cream parlour with over 100 flavours

The local TER train can be taken from Auray station; the route is very scenic and runs through the following places (you can exit and rejoin at any of these stops)
Train ticket prices are very reasonable (5 euros return or 5 return tickets for 20 euros)
Journey time from Auray to Quiberon approx 50 minutes
